He knows their seasons, prices and available colors and varieties inside out! And this perfect knowledge of flowers will save you time and money. For example, you’re getting married in September and you love peonies? It’s not necessarily compatible… Your florist will then suggest flowers consistent with this season, such as garden roses or ranunculus, and will be able to obtain more attractive prices. A true plant magician, he’ll even introduce you to flowers you never knew existed!

3/ The florist takes into account your mariage

This will make your job much easier and save you a lot of time. Your florist will deliver the flowers to your home, to the church if you opt for a religious ceremony, and to your reception venue. If you can, choose a florist who will also take care of the installation: he’ll be in the best position to arrange his floral creations to show them off to their best advantage and give your D-Day a unique atmosphere!

4/ He budgets your needs to avoid unpleasant surprises

And yes, floristry is a profession in its own right! He’ll know how to plan the right quantity of flowers, guarantee their freshness, select the right varieties for each season and thus obtain a coherent price, or harmonize the colors available. It also includes vases (and often you don’t need to buy them, you can simply rent them) or accessories (ceremony arch, ribbons, wooden logs…) that will give the final touch to your wedding decoration!
