They got married at Domaine de Vavril: a testimonial!

Auriane & Adrien chose to marry at the Domaine on June 12, 2021… They look back on this wonderful weekend for us!

What do you consider to beinal assets of Domaine de Vavril?

“The location, the different spaces allowing you to imagine several atmospheres with sublime views over the vines, the calm without being overlooked. Everything is beautiful: the maison de maitre, the shady courtyard under the lime trees with its village square atmosphere, the reception room, and the garden/pool downstairs. We fell in love with the place!

VWeren’t your guests as enchanted by the charm of the place as you were?

“Our wedding was magical, all the guests were charmed. We received nothing but compliments. The possibility of accommodating close family and witnesses really enabled us all to enjoy this wonderful interlude. The sun shone all weekend, making it possible to enjoy the Domaine 100%!”

Commow did your D-Day at the Domaine go?

“After preparations in the morning to finish the installations, and our respective preparations. We decided to take a look under the chestnut tree next to the reception hall – it’s a really incredible place.

We kicked off with our Lay Ceremony at 3:30pm at the entrance to the estate in the garden below, under the trees for an intimate setting. Our colorful arch and floral decoration were in harmony with the vegetation. The ceremony was magical, and we danced our way out through the gate beside the vines.

We then scheduled the cocktail reception for 5pm, in anticipation of Arthur’s catering service stopping at 11pm. We wanted a festive cocktail party with a ‘bal guinguette’ moment in the courtyard in front of the winery. We created a number of areas, including a beer/limonade bar, a water bar and a polaroid corner where guests could leave us a souvenir.

The guests were delighted with the petits fours and catered entertainment, and had a great time.

We then dined in the reception room at 8pm. The room was sublimated by a few guiguette garlands and kraft pennants. The Mediterranean menu delighted everyone’s taste buds. Dessert and dancing took place in the chais at 11 p.m., which gave a nice dynamic to the evening, the chais is really adapted to dancing in a very convivial indoor/outdoor atmosphere until the end of the night.”

Do you have an anecdote or an unexpected moment to tell us?

“At the moment of exchanging the wedding rings that our daughter Céleste, aged 4 and a half, was supposed to bring. She slipped into my ear that she wanted to go pee in the middle of the ceremony! Everyone laughed. So one of my witnesses drove her, and while we waited for her to return, we took the opportunity to savor this unique moment a little more. The DJ turned on the music and we were all dancing our hearts out!
